Throughout the winter, we have continued to develop our Postcards from Geiranger Brenneri product series, and this spring we launched two new additions to the collection.
As a distillery located in the heart of the Geirangerfjord World Heritage area, we wanted to create a series that pays tribute to the breathtaking landscape and the exceptional ingredients found in and around the fjord. From well-known landmarks such as the Seven Sisters Waterfall and Flydalsjuvet to lesser-known places like Hyskje and Løsta, the idea is to create a collection of postcards from different locations in Geiranger.
What unites all the products is the story they carry about the fjord and the ingredients that grow here – from the mountain peaks high above to the depths of the fjord below. That is why we like to say that you will find a taste of the World Heritage fjord in every single drop of our products.
In 2025, we launched the first product in our postcard series. The label is designed as a postcard, with each product featuring its own Geiranger motif inside the bottle, while the stamp on the label highlights some of the ingredients used in the spirit.
The series is a tribute to the magnificent natural surroundings of our distillery. It includes several premium products, among them The Distiller's Selected Premium Aquavit and our two latest releases, Botanical Gin and Summer Aquavit. We hope you enjoy the taste!

Geiranger Brenneri Botanical Gin
A fresh and flavourful gin inspired by the nature surrounding Geiranger. The gin is distilled with juniper berries, coriander seeds, orris root, pink peppercorns, anise and citrus, together with local ingredients such as wild berries, redcurrants, rhubarb, bilberry heather, spruce shoots and wild flowers.
On the nose, the gin is fruity and aromatic, with distinct notes of juniper, citrus, berries and floral nuances from wild plants and herbs.
The palate is fresh and well-balanced, with clear flavours of juniper, citrus, coriander, flowers, fruit and herbs, rounded off by a soft and natural character from the forests and mountains of the region.

Geiranger Brenneri Summer Aquavit
Er ein lett og frisk norsk akevitt inspirert av sommaren i fjordlandskapet. Akevitten er laga på norsk potetsprit og krydra med mellom anna karve, dill, lakrisrot, anis, kardemomme og rosépepar, saman med mjødurt, sitrus, rabarbra, rips og ville blomar.
På nasen er akevitten lett floral, med friske tonar av karve, milde krydder, sitrus og skogsbær.
Smaken er mjuk og sommarleg, med eit friskt preg av karve, grøne urter, mild anis, frukt, bær og sitrus, balansert med delikate florale tonar og eit hint av sødme.
